My name is Shupiwe Faith Jere. Please feel free to call me Faith. I have over 14 years of experience as a Podiatrist and started out in England working in the NHS as well as the private sector.
In Manchester I had the great experience of setting up a Podiatry service in the Midland Hotel working alongside a Physiotherapist and ‘Up and Running Manchester’ specialising in Gait analysis, orthotics and selective sports footwear.
Since relocating to Australia in 2013, I have enjoyed working in Aged care services treating acute and chronic conditions. I have also worked in Medical centres treating general routine nail care, nail and skin conditions, in growing toenails, Gait assessments, orthotics and Diabetes Foot care and assessments.
I have a keen interest in Gait analysis, Diabetes and the foot and preventing associated complications. I really enjoy Podiatry because I am not just treating feet, I am treating an individual and helping to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
My working experiences have been in The UK, France and Australia. Whilst living in France I learnt to speak French and also taught English as a second language (TOEFL Training). I try my best to ensure my patients and clients feel that their podiatric concerns are always being attended to.
