Our friendly and dedicated team of doctors and nurses are here to help you live a healthy life. Serving the people of Balwyn, Balwyn North, Kew, Canterbury, Camberwell, Mont Albert, Surrey Hills, Deepdene and surrounding suburbs.
We are expanding.
Our sister clinic, Clock Medical Centre, is relocating and merging with our centre.
Our fabulous team has always strived to deliver quality healthcare to you, your family, and the broader community. Given that Clock Medical Centre is located just 3-4 minutes away by car, we believe that we can provide even stronger quality of care by merging the clinics together.
All of Clock's doctors — Dr Matthew Soccio, Dr Roslyn Hall, and Dr Tina Purdon, as well as the nurses and reception staff — will be relocating, and are looking forward to joining our family here at Modern Medical Balwyn.
How will this affect me?
Our team is working behind the scenes to make the transition as smooth as possible. To ensure that we continue to deliver quality care, we are expanding our medical centre. From 2nd September, our team will consult from both the ground and Level 3 of the building.
Don't worry. We will let you know which floor to check-in prior to your appointment. If you happen to wander onto the wrong floor, our reception team will check you in and then direct you to the correct floor.
We look forward to welcoming you to our expanded medical centre, and to continue offering you quality care. If you have any questions about the relocation process, please do not hesitate to contact our team.
When will the expansion be completed?
Can I book an appointment for after 2nd September?
Yes, just book your appointment via the online platform or via telephone. Your appointment date and time will not change, just that you might need to head up to Level 3 to see your doctor. We will remind you closer to the date of your appointment.
What will the new centre include?
The Balwyn centre is purpose-built to deliver high quality healthcare. We are investing into the clinic to expand the facilities and to ensure the standard of care continues to improve.
With extended hours, as well as more doctors, nurses and treatment rooms, you will have access to a wider range of services.
